Dorset Blue Vinney
A common farmhouse cheese, made in Dorset for over 200 years.
Made from skimmed Fresian milk, the result is a lovely creamy blue cheese
Dorset Ford Farm Coastal Cheddar
Aged for up to 15 months for a deliciously sweet and distinctive flavour
Somerset brie
Creamy, with a mild, fresh flavour and a soft edible white rind
Home-cooked, free range honey glazed ham
Italian salami Napoli, German peppered salami
Mortadella, chorizo, garlic sausage and pastrami
Pork pies and roasted vegetables
Houmous and vegetable crudités
A selection of tortilla chips, breadsticks and dips, crackers and handmade breads. Olives, sun-blushed tomatoes, pickles and a selection of homemade chutneys.

A selection of vegan cheeses, vegan meat and savoury alternatives.
We would generally recommend catering for a minimum of two thirds of your total day and evening guests. However, this is only a guide and not always sufficient if you have particularly hungry guests...
You know your guests better than us, so we’ll leave the final decision to you!

Our fine Dorset hog roast
Serves 100 people (larger numbers can be catered for)
A succulent whole free-range Dorset pig, spit roasted served with Merlins own sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, homemade apple sauce and mustards, relishes and condiments.
All served in a soft, large white bap.

Wood fired pizzas
Alfresco experience
Introduced in 2023, our Alfresco Terrace with our spectacular bespoke brick built wood fired pizza oven and our garden cocktail bar.
In addition to our existing evening catering options we can now offer our Wood fired pizza sharing buffet, Paella buffet, Noodle Bar or Fajita buffet. All freshly prepared in view of your guests while they enjoy sipping their evening cocktails!
Wood Fired Pizza Buffet
Served buffet style from the Alfresco Terrace. All prepared with handmade fresh dough, Merlins tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and virgin olive oil and served with garlic bread, oils and a selection of dips. You can either select three of the options below or just leave it to us.

Our Alfresco cocktail bar will be opening every weekend between 7pm and 10pm, with the opportunity to extend this later into your evening depending on demand.
