All prices are subject to VAT @ 17.5%.

Our separate Wedding Menus and information, allow for an inclusive cost for table linen and extra time afforded by our staff to cover your speeches, photographs and ceremonious cutting of the cake.

Our own terms remain in accordance with the venues accepting us as their preferred caterers and we comply totally with their own terms and conditions of hire.

Merlins Catering reserve the right to substitute an ingredient, should any difficulty be found in sourcing it. The customer would always be fully informed before hand.

If an occasion arises whereby the cost of raw materials should dramatically increase, Merlins Catering will contact the Customer to advise if this should have any affect on the quoted tariff.

For anyone who experiences extreme food allergies and intolerances, with prior notice we will ensure that a suitable alternative dish is freshly prepared for them. There is no extra charge for this service.

Through any loss or damage of equipment or table linen, by either the customer or their guests, Merlins Catering will charge for the full replacement amount.

Finger buffets
There is no minimum number required for finger buffets.
Prices quoted include delivery for orders of over £100.00 + VAT, disposable white plates and disposable white serviettes. Buffet items are presented on either stainless steel or disposable platters and covered with cling film for you to uncover as required. The Buffet items are attractively garnished and delivered shortly before the advised start of your event and should be consumed within four hours. Our white banqueting roll is supplied, if required, to cover the buffet tables. For any orders falling below the £100.00 + VAT threshold, a delivery charge of £20.00 + VAT is applicable.

Fork Buffets and Barbecues
Prices are based on a minimum of 50 persons. Separate quotations are available for smaller groups. Prices quoted include delivery, all required crockery, cutlery and disposable white serviettes. White Linen for the Buffet Tables is also included. Barbecued items are cooked in front of your guests by our Chef, using our professional propane gas fired barbecues. The buffet tables are self-service but are maintained by our team. We take care of all the clearing away and leave the area tidy.

Banquets
Prices are based on a minimum of 50 persons and the suitability of the kitchen equipment and facilities at your chosen venue. Merlins Equipment Hire for any essential items is available upon request. Our crisp white table linen is included for all Wedding Menus. Your quoted price includes our plain white matching crockery, stainless steel cutlery and good quality paper serviettes. We are able to quote additionally for linen napkins and coloured cloths.

We can quote individually for wine selection and provision, please enquire.

Alternatively, we can offer a total drinks service to you if you would like to provide your own wines and beverages. This includes taking delivery of all your drink, providing a chilling service, delivering it to your venue and preparation on-site.

Upon receipt of a deposit of one third of the total invoice, Merlins Catering are able to guarantee their catering services to you. The final payment is due two full weeks before your event, you are welcome to pay by cheque or direct banking facility. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Merlins Catering’ and our bank details for direct payments are: -

Should it be necessary to cancel your booking with Merlins Catering your non-refundable deposit is retained. For cancellation notice received during the two months prior to your event 50% of the final expected balance is incurred.

Your final confirmed numbers are due one month before your function. This will be the total amount you will need to pay for. After this date, should the number of people attending rise and if we are able to cater for them, we will automatically charge for the greater amount. We are not able to refund any decrease in numbers.
